Joseph W Willard
Mount Holly - Joseph W. Willard of Mount Holly passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at his home. He was 77.
Born in California, Joseph was raised in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Neshaminy High School and West Chester State University where he was a 4-year varsity 3rd baseman and team captain his senior year. Joe was a longtime teacher and coach at Riverside High School. He loved touching the lives of so many high school students. While at Riverside he was Varsity Baseball Coach, Assistant Boys Soccer Coach and Assistant Wrestling Coach. He was also Past President of the Riverside Teacher's Association. Joe was also a longtime baseball umpire and past President of the SJ Umpire's Association. He also was a past Tri-County Swim Club representative and US Swimming Official. In more recent years, he was an avid golfer. He and his wife lived in Willingboro before moving to Mount Holly 27 years ago.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 54 years, Diane; 2 sons: Joseph Willard, Jr. of Moorestown and George (Danielle) Willard of Delran; 3 grandchildren: Campbell, George and Sam Willard all of Delran. (Any Brothers and sisters or other relatives go here)
